ravensong..! so beautiful.. yet so broken inside.ravensong was laying under a large tree by the river. it had been a fairly hot day, and she had no other place to shade herself from the sun. her friends were not at camp today, and her leader had been busy in her den. it was a very lonely day for her, indeed. ravensong was really bored. she had nothing to do but look at the branches of the tree above her, and count them all. there were many branches on the tree, and ravensong couldn't even try to count them all right now. she was very thirsty, actually. springing up from the spot she had been laying in, ravensong padded over to the river.
the sleek black cat dipped her head to lap up the water below her. the water had a fairly bitter taste that she was used to. turning away from the river, the she-cat decided that she would hunt now, it would be a better explanation for why the deputy of windclan had been out so long. ravensong saw a vole scuttling in the long grass. eyeing it for a moment, she stalked forward, and tailed the vole as it scuttled through the grass. "you're mine, mister." ravensong mewed. she pawed the mouse onto the floor, and made her final blow. the vole was dead. she happily scooped it up with her mouth, and dropped it in what would soon be her fresh kill pile.

Introducing, Sandpaw. . . Fearless&determined.
With joy flooded over and pride throughout her, Sandpaw trotted happily down the river that seperated the warriors, hoping to hunt a fish or two, even though she was a WindClan cat. She stared at the overflowing water, seeing slippery items in it, flowing up and down the water, tempting Sandpaw to jump in the water and just grab it. But it wasnt that easy, Sandpaw knew that herself as well.
Once, two moons ago, she was trying to master the technique of hunting fishes along the river. She had obviously fallen in the river after trying to grab hold of one of the fishes. Fogstorm got really angry. Of course, mentors were supposed to get angry. But after that, Sandpaw knew to never reach in the water before you are ready. "Little fishes, are you ready for auntie Sandpaw to devour you and take you back to camp for Sparklestar and Ravensong to see what I've catched?" Sandpaw questioned the fish that was clearly not understanding cat language.

ravensong..! so beautiful.. yet so broken inside. ravensong spotted sandpaw hunting in the river. she heard the young apprentice say 'little fishes, are you ready for auntie sandpaw to devour you and bring back for sparklestar and ravensong to see what i've caught?'. the black cat mewed in laughter. she made her way over to where the apprentice had been, and purred with delight. "greetings, young sandpaw."
she was always nice to apprentices. she never tried to get angry at them, like other mentors did. ravensong knew that sandpaw was one of the best windclan apprentices, and she felt bad that she got in trouble with her mentor often. the young deputy was very experienced at her job, but sometimes her heart tends to get in the way. "i see you're hunting?" she asked the apprentice, obviously knowing the answer.

The loveliness of thy fragrance; Seems like Sandpaw?!
Embarassed, yet happy to see ravensong, sandpaw smiled and grinned. "Yup! I almost catched that fish, you know? That little slippery one ova there!" She pointed to it with her tail. But there was over twenty little slippery fishes in the water that Sandpaw was pointing to, but instead of laughing out loud, sandpaw frowned.
"I was going to bring it to you so that you can give it to Sparklestar! Or you can eat it!" Sandpaw exclaimed, looking excitedly at ravensong, bouncing up and down with her paws. Excitement crept over her as she looked over the water again. This time, i'll get it! To impress ravensong.... Sandpaw thought, stretching her paw over the water slowly like molasses. The fish still swam peacefully. Quickly and quietly, she patted her paw around the cool and moisturizing water, touching a slippery item underneath. She grinned at the felt of it, quickly grasped it and held it up above her paws.
