overall
--- Even at first glance anybody could tell Songshadow is something different, by her body positioning. She stands tall and proud, slim and bony, with her feathery tail high in the air. A dangerous second glance reveals her grass green eyes, as she will turn her head to look at you, almost definitely alarming you with her hypnotic gaze. For a while, her pupils will seem to shrink and grow strangely, as she examines you, before either giving you a grin as warm as the sun's rays, or frowning at you disapprovingly; maybe even giving you a hiss. If you're quick enough, before she scampers off, you can take notice of her unique, yet strange patterns. Around her legs are sharp, thin black stripes, almost like tiger patterns, while the rest of her leg is grey. Her paws are white, matching a 'splodge' on her chest.
The rest of her body is the dark grey on her legs, apart from the silver dapples on her main body. Her tail looks like it has been dipped in some form of a sticky snow - especially with the sun blaring it's fiery hot light on it. If you ever encounter her twitching her nose and whiskers at you, it means that she's suspecting you of having done something.

overall
Songshadow adores making new friends, even though it's hard to befriend her and gain her trust. Her favourite food is rabbit, and she will often get the biggest rabbit she can off the fresh kill pile. Like most cats, she enjoys winning an argument or battle, because it seems to give her more confidence. But, through all this, Songshadow is mostly in her mind, imagining vividly.
However, she hates hunting, and can't even hunt. Most cat's yell at her because of this, and she can't stand being yelled at. She also hates big changes; she considers big changes to be things like being captured and starved. Which links to the reason why she really hates twolegs, who were the ones who captured her.

"Songshadow sniffed severed times, as she heard a distinctive scuffling sound. She narrowed her eyes as she identified the familiar scent of vole. Slowly, she flicked her ears, as she tried to pinpoint where the vole scuffled away, minding it's own business. Songshadow caught sight of it right next to a bush, nibbling on a seed.
'I've got it - I've got control of this one!' She meowed to herself, desperately hoping that she'd convince herself. She stalked forwards slowly, before leaping up, and springing at the vole. But it was a miss. To Songshadow's dismay, she headed straight for the bush.
She yowled in surprise as she made contact with the leaves, which stung her through her thick pelt. She got up and examined the leaves.
'Oh, no... I fell into a nettle bush!!!' She sighed."

family
MOTHER NAME- Sorrowstar
FATHER NAME- Owlclaw
SISTERS/BROTHERS NAMES- None
kit
Songkit was born an only kit, and her main name was 'Song' because as soon as she was born, she was mewing for StarClan. For her first week, she did nothing more than stay closely huddled to her mother, in a silent fear of being taken away and stolen. Eventually, she gained confidence, and her mother left the Nursery to do her duties as Clan leader. For the rest of Songkit's kit life, she had to stay with another Queen, who looked after her carefully. Several times, Songkit left the nursery, in her desperation to explore the WindClan camp - but each time, she was caught, and carefully put back into the nursery. This irritated Songkit in the extreme, but she urged herself to stay patient, by telling herself that her time would come.
The Queen who looked after her (Goldenspirit), had two kits of her own. One was called Openkit, the other called Heartkit. When they were old enough to play Songkit's games, the three of them had a whale of a time. Heartkit would always play the damsel in distress, Songkit would play as Heartkit's sister, determined to save her, and Openkit was the dangerous cat Tigerstar. Songkit would be innocently walking towards Heartkit, who was playing very dramatically, while Openkit leapt out of a bush as Songkit. For a while, they would tackle each other, but Songkit would always win. Frequently, they were interrupted during this game by Goldenspirit, who would always watch, with concern, deep in her eyes.
They also frequently played 'Chase The Butterfly' - Songkit would always lose, while Openkit would leap up into the air joyfully, and grab the butterfly in his jaws. They also played this when they were apprentices. But, one day, the game became dangerous - but that's all explained in the next paragraph. Songkit, Openkit and Heartkit were starting to get impatient about coming apprentices, one moon before it was possible! Goldenspirit would try her best to calm the three down, by giving them the juiciest prey on the fresh kill pile, and telling them to find things for her within the camp. But this only made them get even more excited!
apprentice
Songpaw was a very eager apprentice, which slightly disconcerted Angelwing, her mentor. Angelwing, to Songpaw's relief, was very good friends with Heartpaw and Openpaw's mentors, so they frequently trained together. One time, the three apprentices were doing battle training together, and Angelwing had told Songpaw to use all the moves Angelwing had taught her. Determined to show how good she was, she did each one as elegantly as she could, yet with a dangerous glint in her eyes. Angelwing was highly impressed; so she gave the apprentices a treat, which was letting them do hunting practice, and eat whatever they caught. Little did they all know that disaster lay ahead of them...
Angelwing decided to take them on a scenic hunting route, right next to a cliff in WindClan territory. It was the best hunting spot, but the most dangerous. Songpaw saw something out of the corner of her eye. It was a butterfly - and Heartpaw and Openpaw had seen it too! Angelwing told them that apprentices don't even attempt to catch butterflies, but they didn't listen. Openpaw, keeping his eyes glued to the butterfly, ran after it - but the butterfly hovered over the cliff-edge. Openpaw lunged after it, while Heartpaw called a warning. She was too late; Openpaw fell to his death. In her sadness, which made her stupid, Heartpaw dived after her brother, calling for StarClan to take her with him.
That was why Songpaw became a horrendous hunter from then on. She frequently refused to hunt from then on after, for about one moon, until she gave in and attempted to hunt a rabbit. She was hopeless - Angelwing was dismayed, yet determined. For many moons, Angelwing tried to get Songpaw hunting, but with each attempt she failed. Each time, Angelwing lost more and more hope, faith, belief, and eventually, sanity. Finally, she gave in, and let Songpaw become a Warrior, while she, herself, retired early. Soon after retiring, she died in a battle, leaving Songshadow with grief.
warrior
Songshadow was horrified about Angelwing's death - and for many moons, she stayed with the Medicine Cat, who gradually got slightly irritated. She wasn't only horrified about Angelwing, she was also upset about her father and mother who had died in the same battle. Songshadow was worried that it was a sign from StarClan. Maybe they were punishing her for not trying to help Heartpaw and Openpaw, or maybe they were unimpressed with her hunting skills. It took her a while to get over it, and get back into the swing of Clan life. Then, BAM - life has more bad things in store for Songshadow.
She was kidnapped, so was the rest of her Clan. Slowly, they were left to starve, before being chucked out into the streets. WindClan came across the other Clans, who had had the same thing happen to them. For a while, they spoke to each other, the leaders whispering agitatedly, glancing around warily every so often. Songshadow watched them for some time, before conversing with a cat from a different Clan. Eventually, the Clan leaders told their Clans that they were uniting as one.
Songshadow felt relief, and fear; StarClan would surely be angry, yet it was the only way they could survive. She explained this to the cat from the other Clan, who nodded with understanding, before being called off by one of his Clan mates. The leaders asked for silence, before telling everyone to explore the streets, to find out what they could about the area. Songshadow went off with two other WindClan cats, but found nothing. They went back to the place where everyone had arranged to meet, to find most of the other cats had come back too, some with fresh kill. For a while, they all talked, holding no grudges against each other.
Songshadow immediately knew that she was needed, and was an important thing in this new Clan, and seemed to heal from her previous horrors. She was certain that all her dead friends and relatives where in a happier place, in StarClan. One day, when the time was right, she would join them. But she should enjoy life as it was. It suddenly didn't seem to matter that she couldn't hunt - her fighting skills made up for that, along with her never ending loyalty. Whatever happened, she was going to make herself a legend, small or a big, she didn't care.
